Those of you that are familiar with the DSM crew from the Des Moines area or were at the Dyno Fest last Fall will probably find this to be particularily interesting: READ

I remember hearing about and seen a couple of those cars. I believe I talked to Jeremy (Brandt) most of the time and Justin once. They seemed like real nice guys.
Makes sense how all those cars were paid for.
I think Allan and Jana know him pretty well.

Sad, Sad, Sight, one great car lost to the police!!
In the picture below is a sad picture. It is a picture of a Black 1995 talon with eclipse conversion. At its top it was make close to 550hp to the wheels. But the owner got in trouble. He was charged with some sort of drug charge and his 3 cars were taken away. The first the black talon on white volks, the second a Jun tuner civic on volks, ad the third a denali with 7 eclipse tv's with 2 W7 subs. All of these cars are sitting in our downtown police parking lot. I dont know what will happen to them but i really would like to get a hold of that eclipse. I cry everytime i go by!!! Just a great car to be sitting but i guess that is what you get for being a drug dealer. Oh and the owner was probably the nicest guy you could meet and was one of the smartest people i know. he knew his sh*t about dsms. Before he was sent to jail he was working on a while talon that was even better then his first. That white talon is now sitting in a garage with his 11,000 dollar motor sitting in a car port right near it. Well hope you enjoyed my story. Let me know if you ever meet justin applegate. Hey i will only be 21 when he gets out of jail and im 18 now!! at least from the rumor i have heard There is also another picture in this thread http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/sho...&threadid=12218

Can you post the pic here? I can't view the pic either.
Man, that's what I thought was going on. We had suspected it for quite some time so it doesn't suprise me at all.

If anyone shit talks about the owner here it will be deleted. Jeremy built that car and it was gonna haul ass! Someone made a mistake and he is paying for it. End of story.

Sad over all. Drugs jail loseing you car it is all just sad no matter what he did. So how did he lose all this if he wasn't involved? wrongfully accused? its a shame such a nice car is going on the auction block.

You've got the two people mixed up Stuart. Jeremy Brandt, owner of the red '99 GSX that dynoed 470 whp at the dynofest last Fall did not lose his car. However, Justin Applegate, the owner of two cars that Jeremy worked on, did lose his cars and he is the one that is in jail, not Jeremy.

I dont think we'd be talking shit about Jeremy, the guy who built the car etc... but from the sounds of it, the drug guy even though he may have been nice was just paying him to build fast cars, and the one who should be respected was jeremy.
Kinda like those kids who's parents drop 30 grand on thier civics, of course they are going to be nice and fast...
I dont know either of them personally, so I'll shut up but thats all that it sounded like to me.

Tater do you know any more about what's going on with all of this since you're probably closer to Brandt than the majority of us around here?
