14b-16g

After bending one of the center clips on the 16g, i started looking around for the part through FP, and other websites online, with minimal results. Now, to make a long story short and the question as simple as possible.

Is it possible to turn a 14b into a small 16g with just the compressor housing and turbine switched out on the turbo? I've got a rebuild that would be going in, and the the 16g center section may be out of commission until i can get my hands on those parts.

Thanks in advance for any help... turning into an expensive learning process.

Re: 14b-16g

14b and 16G's are the exact same except for three things:
-compressor wheel (16G is bigger and different design)
-compressor cover (machined to fit each specific wheel)
-turbine housing (14B has a 6cm housing, 16G's have 7cm housings)

I would say slap the 7cm housing on the 14B and let'er buck until you get your 16G back together.
