ok so i was checking out my buddies Evo yesterday. and it looks like its completely flipped around. like the cam gears are on the left instead of the right. i know its the same motor with a few exceptions. would i be able to swap the motor out and put it in mine? i think i would have to flip the motor around so the cam gears and such will be on the right. let me know if u dont understand that

Nope wont work for exactly the same reasons you described. Its a mirror image of our motor.

Holy shit I just noticed that Mike has a bling meter! Nice You better slow your roll though, that thing is maxin' out.

how many bolts does the evo motor have, 6 or 7bolt? and how strong are the internals?

Not sure about the design but i would think the internals are pretty decent. It runs about 19 PSI stock....or so I have heard.

internals on those cars seem to be rather tough so far. Mike from Road Race TRIED to blow his engine and didn't. He was dynoing the car, and decided to just say screw it, and so he ran it with the Greddy turbo kit with no boost control, and made like 400 sumthin HP, it's been awhile, so i don't remember the numbers. But his HP was purely turbo limited. The turbo ran outta juice, it was maxed out, and he was fully willing to max it out even if it cost him the motor. But the motor held together just fine. I heard the rods don't look that strong, almost like 2g rods, but they are holding lots of power so they must just be well designed

Probably at least 100 bolts on the motor.
AMS has made over 500whp on the stock internals. The rods look like the 1G/2G 7-bolt rods though, so 500+whp might not be the safest thing.

i would fit....but the timing is on the different side... i was checking out my buddies EVO tonight. the interals are real strong acutally. its crazy money to upgrade them too. my buddies evo has a little over 500whp and it ran 12.2 on stock clutch and untuned. he hopes to be running low 11s with tunning and his new clutch.

Sure it does, and it won't fit w/o tons of modifications. It isn't just the timing belt that is on the wrong side. Seriously though, upgrading a DSM 4G63 instead of an EVO 4G63 will get you tons more power for a lot less money.
