Ok, so today I'm surfing the net eating a sandwich looking at DSM this, DSM that when I come across an EPROM ECU on Egay. So I say to my self, "Self, you really need one of these so you can have a cool tranny breaking studderbox." With sandwich in hand, I proceed to place a bid. The high bidder had already bid more than I was willing to go so I said f-this. Well, I revisit the auction and apparently I am now the high bidder-the other guy must have retracted. I inspect the auction a little closer and I guess the ECU is a newer one and the case is a tad different color. Well, after punching my own nuts cause I already have a bad feeling about this, I seem to remember a discussion somewhere about the newer ECU's are a bitch to get socketed. Anyone else out there remember this or have any insight?

Here's the auction: http://tinyurl.com/3axps

Or am I just tard? :headache:

Holy crap dude! If Nash doesn't buy mine, I will sell it to you for $200 with a stage 3 chip already installed! That is an outrageous price, it can't be used on a 90 either.

Sounds good to me. :woowoo: I retracted my bid already. I agree that was probably waaaay too much to pay... but dammit, for some reason I wanted it right this second. Guilty of impulse buying. Must've been that tcstangs thread...

I don't think Nash wants it

I am buying yours. And that one CAN be used on a 90.

Is it an EPROM? If it is how much do you want for it?
