Make up your mind. first you had awd, then converted to fwd and now you want to make your car rwd?

Re: awd to rwd

OK this is how you do it.
First you need to get your center diff welded up so that when you pull out your front axles all the power will actually go through the transfer case and then to the rear of the car. You will need two extra CV's to get the half shaft and the knuckle from the passengers side to plug the holes in the tranny. Then you will also need the knuckles for the outer ends put into the hub to keep your wheel bearings tight. That is all, you have RWD, and since I actually did this for about a month last year, all I can say is that you can do sweet burnouts, but that's about all. The handling is complete sh*t (DSM needs front torque distribution to turn), braking is garbage (not sure why this is affected, maybe it needs engine load and tranny drag to slow down). So pretty much you have a car that sucks in all aspects except burning out. It cant even do a sweet RWD launch cuz the car doesnt have the same weight transfer as a RWD car. BOO
