window visor fell off

hey guys, my rain gaurd fell off the galant. Luckly, it was windy and it only flew like 10 feet away from the driveway. Anyways, I'm in need of help to find out how to remove the nasty double sided tape thats sticking on the car and on the visors. When i put these on, I was in a "hurry" and didn't take the time to put the in the way I wanted to.
I was thinking about using a hair dryer, heating up the white tape and scraping it...but I want your guys input on how one should properly do it. I'm not sure what to scrape the white stuff with...I dont want to do it with my nails. much help will be appreciated. Here are the pics of the disaster.

A hair dryer would work, or you can get some 3m adhesive remover. Using your fingers sucks, but it works better than just about anything else.

A hair dryer might not get hot enough. I'd try and find a heat gun and then use some gasoline to get the final goop off. That's what we did when we debadged my car and my buddy's.

Goo Gone for sure, or some sort of citrus cleaner. Test it in an inconspicuous location first to make sure it won't mess up the paint.

+1

Goo gone is good stuff, if it doesnt get it off right away, let it sit on the adhesive area for a few minutes.
