94 stealth issue

Well i was driving home from work on monday, wound it up to about 6000rpm in 2nd n the tach hits 0 instantly and it dies. Well i roll to a stop hit the key and it fires right up, hit the gas it revs to 3grand n dies again doesnt re start. Well i towed it home and let it sit, tonight i hit the key for shits n giggles and it fires right up let it sit n idle for about 10-15 min n take it around the block well thats all the farther i got it was gutless but didnt miss didnt stutter or any thing just died clean. Would not re start either. checked for spark when it died and it has none. car does not throw a cel either

checked misc connections under the hood and all seem to be tight disconnected a few and reconnected them.

Well i was thinking crank sensor but have never heard of one just fucking up sometimes thought they just straight up went out.

Any input or ideas would be greatly appreciated since im pulling the heads this weekend for some head studs, head gaskets and 120k service and i would like it to just start when im done lol.

only mods to car are short ram aftermarket down pipe, and catback.

any help or insight is greatly appreciated
thx, Tom

Re: 94 stealth issue

I'd pull out the ECU and check for leaking caps
