I'm still running the stock 7 bolt in my car. I've never even had the valve cover off it... anyways, figure I'm right around the 350hp mark. Either way, from what I've read, it dosnt' seem to matter what you actually do to the motor some will walk others wont. I figure if it walks on me I'll just have to do the 6 bolt. Oh well, the consequence of owning a 2g time bomb.

He said he was flowing 51lb/min, what airflow numbers were you pulling on the dyno? He should have just cranked the boost up a shit load instead of trying to run nitrous. Your probably safer turning your boost up 10psi then trying to run a 50-75shot on an already high boost motor. Nitrous on a boosted motor isn't something to be taken lightly.

On pump gas I am was seeing 50-52lbs/min. on the Dyno - 22psi (spike to 25 from 7200-8,000rpms)
On Race Gas I was seeing 54lbs/min on the Dyno. 25psi (spike to 26 from 7200-8,000rpms)

eclipses20g just put up some new HP numbers.
551 FWHP
501 Torque
36PSI of boost
Stock bottom end
Stock 2G intake
1G TB
950cc injectors
Hacked MAF
Straight T4 turbo
60lbs/min of airflow
Timing of only 12 degrees

Good lord, those poor 2g rods are really being put to the test! hmy:

eclipses20g blew his motor over the weekend.
His first run at the track netted him an 11.4@116mph, his intercooler hose blew off in third.
His second run was when the motor burned up. On that pass he went from 11.5 to 15.5 AFR with 8 degrees of knock because the line for the FPR blew off and he went pretty frickin lean.
Bad way to prove a point to have all of your lines secure and clamped down, especially at 36psi.

I have seen that pic before and didn't think it was swanny just because it was missing about 60 lbs. It concerns me a bit that Peter likes his shorts so much :stick:
