A friend of mine is going to get AEM EMS for his 2g pretty soon and he wants to know what sensors he will need to buy after he buys the AEM EMS package. I know he will need the MAP sensor, but what others will he need?
Thanks

Motorcycle cop pulls up next to me on UNI and says "Want to race?"
Me- "I don't think you would stand a chance."
Cop says "probably not" and drives off.

ok.... Are you saying everyone knows about everything before they buy the product. BTW, he hasn't bought it yet anyhow. How is he supposed to buy it if he doesn't know what to buy. He will neeed AEM though.

He will need an AIT and a wideband O2 sensor would be a wise move.

For the basic setup, yes.

No, but he really should know a bit about standalones and how they work before trying to run one on his car. It isn't like a FMIC where you just bolt it on and it works. He could get away with getting no additional sensors at all and use the stock MAF, but that way sucks. How much boost does he want to run? Does he want any protection in case of overboosting? To run a speed desity setup you need a MAP sensor and an air intake temp sensor.

He plans on running 25-30psi with maybe nitrous and he would have a shop (either you or QPR) help tune it. He jsut plans on installing it himself and wants to know what to get.
