Speaking of 6466's I remember this post from last year on a j2z Supra. More proof that the turbo can supply the air for 900 ponies.

Goddamn, this turned into a 6466 discussion? Maybe consider just starting a new thread next time murlo....whenever you're posting info about other cars, guns, you know, stuff not related directly to this project? Maybe use that 'new post' button, it's not so bad! People will still reply and know who you are.

I thought this was the life of dave thread too though I did really consider starting a new thread for the 6466. Sometimes other threads that get started don't get any people posting though, and its kind of related to my car as it's what I was/am considering for an upgrade.

However, I found out they do have the 6266 in T4 twinscroll too it looks like so I am thinking that would be a better option in their largest A/R.

On a new note:

Sold my DW1300's today...upgrading injectors soon, hopefully FIC has their 1600/1700 ones out before snow melts, otherwise I am stuck with FIC2000's.

Also sold my old double pumper for really cheap for some extra cash for other stuff

I say do what you think will make you the happiest and enjoy the car the most.

I would think 600ish awhp is a lot more fun to drive than a 800+awhp car on jack stands...

And what makes me happiest right now is a working car. Logic will override silliness here I think and I will stick it out with the current setup. I also am sick of spending big money so I am going to try and keep the major changes to zero this year and do smaller stuff and drive it and have fun. I have house stuff to do.

I just thought this powerband was pretty epic so it was awfully tempting. Realistically my car makes enough power where its tough to find a spot to open it up on the road anymore where I don't feel like I am going to get arrested.

Road trip this summer maybe, or more likely fall would be better when its not 1000 degrees.

I'd have to get my pump gas tune a bit closer to make it there though

Re: Dave's Evo X Build/The Life of Dave blog

You can make the trip on E85, you just need to plan your fuel stops very carefully and call ahead to verify they still sell it. Someone on here did it...maybe Brownman? Pump gas would definitely be easier though. My guest room is all yours if you make it down
