Re: Dave's Evo X Build/The Life of Dave blog
Are they going to wrap the manifold and use a turbo blanket on the housing?

INB4 Magnus claims they were the first to use that manifold design.

I'm sure Magnus will claim they invented turbochargers all together and that Mitsubishi Heavy ripped them off.

No wrap planned. Coating the manifold and hotside for sure. Undecided on what else.

I like it. Have you looked at PTP blankets?

I have not, I already ordered the DEI one though, so maybe next time
I also got some of the gold tape for firewall buff up too, just in case. I think I have enough shit now, I hope Time will tell.
I am getting really pumped for this, I was hoping to have it ready for this weekend for cars and coffee but I think I am going to spectate instead.
I also want to get a mini fire extinguisher but not sure what to get and how to mount it.
Anyone have any ideas?

They sell some at target. I keep one in my glove box at all times.

You have a Fire extinguisher in the glove box? Wow, that's a small one.
I was hoping for a mount that went under the passenger seat, anyone know of anything or maybe it's custom time.

Re: Dave's Evo X Build/The Life of Dave blog
Wouldn't it being under the seat make it awfully tough to grab real quick? I would think you would want it in an easy to access place like glove box, center console, etc. If really needed, you would probably be needing it in a hurry.

Yup, for automotive application. It's small but in the event of an emergency it'd be better than nothing or the random bottle of water/pop you might have in the car.

This. Think easy access. I put mine in the glove box right near the doritos that I stock in case Anna gets hungry.
