I like raking. The structured and repetitive motions clear the mind as the fresh-- aww fuck it, I'll be there at 7.

Well, that was fun I had to double back to OC to grab the gopro cam from Lomker and you guys were going in the total wrong direction, i wanted to try for a little T&C with the 240 but didn't want to drive any further that way

Re: Old Chicago - every Weds @ 8pm in Plymouth
Yea, I lined up with the 240 but not sure if he went or not... having interacted with the owner a few years back and observing the car in person tonight I have to question the actual power numbers it is making. That's all I'm going to say
Shawn, did you throw a CEL on that launch? I saw you pull over but I was already committed to the on ramp.

He seemed like he wasn't very interested in racing me stating he had 3 people with him, so who knows. I just find it hard to believe he is making that much in a "drift" car as he said its set up for, but who knows.

And that I was told by a source I trust it has a T28
Say, I ran completely out of fuel on the way home tonight... first time I've ever done that. Good thing I was kinda trying to do that (for winter storage) and was only 500' from my driveway when it happened.

Wouldn't it be better to store your car with a full tank of gas with Stabil in it so the tank doesn't rust? I would think that would be way better. And if you drive the 1G, holy sideways launching batman. My quest doesn't even get that much angle, haha.

T28, 22-24psi, 110 race for those numbers, or so I'm told.
He was running 9psi and surging tonight, which I noticed when he ran me, it kept cutting out hard and didn't really go anywhere. So I dunno.

Don't believe anything that kid says. Has he shown you a dyno graph? He said he dynoed it at John Haley's.

I'm amazed it left there in one piece.

The only time that car comes out of the stable is when it's going to be whipped.

Dumb question I realize, but I'd like to be sure: does E85 last as long as E10 when stored?

Re: Old Chicago - every Weds @ 8pm in Plymouth
yeah that shit was retarded, really pissed me off. Thanks to everyone for stopping for me. I need to get that pedal permanently fixed!!!! I ran Emily on 394 once at about 80% throttle and an .875 IAM (ECU was on it's way to retard mode) and walked her good though

Just a thought, you could attach a pedal pad to the firewall. Just make sure to find one that's 9 pennies high.

Re: Old Chicago - every Weds @ 8pm in Plymouth
E85 is hydroscopic, so the longer you keep it the bigger chance it has of collecting water. On a new car it might not be an issue, but if you have a hole or any seepage of any kind that could mean water in the tank.
I'd personally keep an E85 car very low on gas and fill up in the spring.
Oh, and you were good and sideways on that launch before getting onto 494, lol, it was quite funny...my two step was acting all weird rev hanging so I ended up kind of launching behind you and spinning too.

Hmmm, really? Interesting as I would've assumed as it collects water, therefore I thought it was hydro, lol. Regardless, thanks for the correction
