Fo sho. Now put the 14b cover back on until you get a 20G. A TD05 would prolly be a really nice combo for your car.

Re: 16g compressor housing on a 14b REVIEW

I can put the 16g wheel on and the 18g housing, and looks like the 14b in the first picture, but bigger and newer wheel. Made me mad when i first ordered the wheel thinking they screwed me out and sent the wrong wheel. I took it into work along with the comp housing. Found out the damn thing was an 18g, i went from mad... to somewhat happy and perplexed. I was planning on a 16g/14b stealth, now i'd have to go with a 16g/18g stealth, and shortly after a new motor.

Re: 16g compressor housing on a 14b REVIEW

I will be running the stock turbo for quite awhile. My choices were.. Newer bigger turbo and no ecmlink or ecmlink and stock turbo. Noone had a decent sized turbo for sale so I just ended up getting ecmlink and the stock turbo.

so why not just make that 16g out of the wheel you have, it will be better then the 14b and super cheap to balance

Re: 16g compressor housing on a 14b REVIEW

Caaaaaaauuuuuuusee I had one day to put the car together. I came home from IL with a ride from my roommate so I could put the 14b onto my car and have a car to drive back to IL. I realise what my options are and I was perfectly fine with running the 14b. I never once said I wish I still had the 16g. Then I decided, hey why not try swapping the compressor housing too while I'm at it and do a review about it. So that is what I did.

Re: 16g compressor housing on a 14b REVIEW

Well 20psi is the max limit with this housing on it. I cranked the boost controller and it didn't change it any. After watching the boost gauge more it hits full spool at more like 4300-4500rpm not 4700. Here is a shitty pull vid that my friend took with my phone. Hopefully I'll actually get a decent one soon!

In the video you actually get a pretty good view of the tach. You can watch it to get an idea of when the turbo spools. I sure wish I had a turbo this laggy.. I get soo much better traction!

10mph-70ish mph

W/e you did what you had to to get the car back on the road, nothing aweful with that.I say put a 14b cover back on there and rock it untill you can afford a 20g or something.
