I would have to agree with the others here. If you plan on selling the car, don't even think about doing this conversion. You will probably not get any more for the car.

The following statements are assuming you already have a V6.

If you are keeping the car, by all means, go for it. Slap a 3.o tt in there and you will have a hell of a beast.

One issue as someone else stated, is engine bay clearance. If you have approx 9" between the exhaust manifold gasket and firewall/radiator you will have room for a couple turbos.

The other issue is wheather or not your existing bell housing will bolt up to the 6g72. I don't have any experience with 3g eclipses, so i can't answer that one.

At that point it's just a matter of finding a 6g72tt with a ecu and harness, and finding someone with the know how to get it all done.

There are more than 25 3/S na to tt conversions on 3si alone. I'm sure there are many more that are not part of that board.
