Re: Borg Warner Turbos
You can get them through a ton of different vendors. MAP should be able to get them fairly easily.

I'm gonna try one of these this year(not on the dsm), so I'll report back what I think of it.

Something in the S400 range. Going pretty big, but have to pick all the specs still.

Just thought I'd share some recent results. These were both T3 housed S256's. One in a small .55A/R and one in the same .7 A/R housing I'm running.

Re: Borg Warner Turbos
I'm gonna bump this thread from the dead. Obviously halon is using a BW turbo, anyone else using one? I'd like to see some real numbers for a dsm, spent a little while digging through dsmtuners, and eventually got a headache and gave up. I myself am looking at an extended tip s256 or s259.

Re: Borg Warner Turbos
I could care less about being remembered haha. I just want a good street/strip/track turbo, and like the spool characteristics Ive been reading about when it comes to their turbos.

Re: Borg Warner Turbos
I'd say MAP is having decent success with the one they have in their FDSM, hahaa.
I'd also recommend considering the 259. I like my 362, but a hair less lag wouldn't hurt, and it should still be capable of some damn good numbers.

Re: Borg Warner Turbos
What do you see full boost at on your 362? I still have some reading to do, there's a lot of info on the s256.

I can't remember exactly off the top of my head, but I feel like I was seeing 30psi just after 5k I think.

I'm just being stupid.
If what u say is true about street/strip, then you will want to stay between teh S256 or 259.

I caught your e-sarcasm lol. And yea, 50trim sized turbos are what I have been looking at lately. I got rid of an scm6152e, cause I just didnt want anything that big, or with that much lag. I'll have to keep reading up I guess.
