Does your car have clutch disengagement issues?
It sounds like your clutch fork could be bending/bent. What is happening is you are reaching full throw of the hydraulics system and actually pushing the clutch fork against the bellhousing. Since the fork is bent (usually where the TO bearing mounts, sometimes between the fulcrum and the slave cylinder) it isn't making its full travel to release the clutch.
