I did not know they have been out for a long time. I just got the email the day I posted it. All the email said is Michelin designed a tire without sidewalls and did not require air pressure. Thought it was interesting so I shared.

Here is an article I found that uses them in wheel chairs, Bobcats and so forth... All without sidewalls to "provide better ride comfort, weight carring capacity, and the ability to "envelope" road hazards. It was posted in Jan of 05, so 2 years old is correct.
