With the 3S (6 speed as well) you just put it all the way over to the position. With the MR there's something called the "a ring" you have to pull it up with both fingers then it slides into position, pretty neat though.
Aside from that the car is amazing, I think the 3S was just too much car for me, I'll be honest. This car you tell it to do something and it does it, no questions asked. I think I've been watching too much top gear.
