That is the theory and the goal. Fab was a bit backed up, had to wrap up an IC pipe solution with the change in FMIC.
Thanks for the business Chris, glad you liked everything. Like I said over on EvoM I forgot you were taking pics, the shop looks diiirty.
Typical clutch job turn around time is usually a day, pending waiting for a flywheel to be machined. We didn't have a evo flywheel instock, otherwise we would have had one ready to rock.

EVO clutches are almost complete opposite then ours. Ours push the fingers towards the PP using a TO bearing, Evos, STIs and S2Ks acutally push the fingers away from the PP. I was talking with a guy at Project import as he was doing the clutch on an evo, and he said in those cars its a PITA to do clutches.

Yep. And, they also need to be "popped" off, and intermediate shafts taken out of the t-case/tranny otherwise the two won't come apart, and blah blah blah. But, clutches are clutches.

Re: Southbend OFE Clutch Install Pics
Whew, I got in about 235 GREAT break-in miles since I picked the car up Thursday night! This clutch is a dream to drive, and I CANNOT wait to start laying down the pedal again and seeing this thing hold good power!
I have a few more power mods coming in this week...

Re: Southbend OFE Clutch Install Pics
Nope, just gonna push the stock turbo & injectors a little further with ported exh manifold, turbine housing, SS o2 housing, and swap out the hiflo cat for a test pipe. I'll do 65mm TB, ported intake manifold, and AEM w/ speed density conversion down the road to really max out the stock stuff.
350 DD whp on stock VIII turbo anyone?

Re: Southbend OFE Clutch Install Pics
Sounds sweet. I like the idea of pushing the stock turbo as hard as possible.
