well, I guess I'll go to the store and pick up a 3" exhaust for his car.

Re: why new FP big16g no make power?

When I made 3" exhaust for my talon and put it on, I didn't even feel a difference in hp, but a big difference when the turbo first spooled up. It hit considerably harder.

Re: why new FP big16g no make power?

Back then when 16gs were huge upgrades to the power production of dsms everyone said "Wow @ 15psi, this thing ownz my 14b at the same boost level! fawk yeahh!" I remember reading numerous reviews on the 16g upgrades all with the same response.

Now days realism has kicked in, people have bigger setups, and so 16gs are not much different from 14b or smaller turbos at the same boost level. I think a lot of the repsonses people gave before were merely psycological ones insisting the car was that much quicker. I wasn't a believer. Hence a lot of belief in improved butt dyno pulling power after installing a step up in size turbo. Sure they give more power, but you're not going from 250 to 350hp instantly, bolting up another step up in size turbo @ the same boost.
