Re: Garage Floor Finishing Ideas
I'll try to get some pics with a real camera. But this is all I got for now.
After etching, washing, and allowing to dry. You can see how much whiter and "drier" the cement looks now. And it felt a little rougher/porous.
Paint is done

Re: Garage Floor Finishing Ideas
I'd like to do the walls eventually. Would be nice if I could find a bunch of buckets of scrap paint, then just mix it all together and use that. Cheap garage wall paint

Re: Garage Floor Finishing Ideas
it's tan like yours. It's wierd, because the long line I did at the end turned out a much lighter tan. Wierd, but it's fine, and looks way better than it did before and will be much easier to clean up from now on

Re: Garage Floor Finishing Ideas
I didn't see this thread until today.
I did this in my old garage too. We did this at work also with some PPG product. We also put some kind of pumice or sand in the mix for grip. Watch out during the winter with snow and slush on it. It gets really slick if you don't any grit in it (not just the paint chips they send with it). There are some clear coats that you can get to put on top of it too. You could mix grit in with that if you wanted to.
Otherwise, it looks really good.

Re: Garage Floor Finishing Ideas
I bought some anti-skid powder to mix in with the paint, but completely forgot to mix it in A clear with the anti-skid may be in order at a later date.
