Re: My 2nd evo project

Not a whole lot of change, just made a bracket for my intake so the filter doesn't just lay on the old location of the IC sprayer. Hooked up a hallman pro mbc and had a lot of problems getting it to 23psi, found out it was the mbc that was the issue. Not really pretty yet. The spiderman air filter needs to go. I also got some fic 1050 cc injectors in it. Just waiting for an e85 tune now

Also had a little photoshoot with a couple friends after cars and coffee last saturday. Me,beth(not sure of her name on here), and paul (kurdy). kevin(sleepydsm) was there as well but he was sitting shotgun since his car is engine less at the moment.

Re: My 2nd evo project

Went in to RS motors early today and got a retune since I put some buddy club 272 cams in. I'm so happy with how my car has been responding to the parts I've thrown at them.

Here are the results 358hp and 405tq
dotted lines are the numbers before the cams

More power at less boost! can't complain! I love the midrange gains, wow! Those cams are decent!

Wow! That's as good of gains as I've seen from a set of cams on an Evo

Re: My 2nd evo project

I wasn't expecting to gain that from these cams at all. If only this turbo would hold more boost longer, I would be able to pick up more powe.

Re: My 2nd evo project

Put a evo IX turbo in and it didnt pick up to much power at all. I didnt get a graph from ron cause he went home early but the ending numbers were 361hp and 414 tq.

Ron thinks that cams need to be adjusted with some adjustable cam gears to maybe move the power band from spooling so early. I'm really thinking about just getting a t3 setup over the winter and swapping out these cams.
