I need to get out for one of these but it's too early for me to commit, need to make sure i get my car tuned and running good before then. Somehow driving the acura TL just doesn't seem like it would be as much fun lol.

Agreed! If you're unsure, book a non-prepaid room NOW since it doesn't cost you anything and you can cancel up to the day before at no charge. This will at least guarantee you a room if you do decide to come. When you are 100% committed, if there are still rooms available just cancel your reservation and get the cheaper prepaid rate, but if rooms are booked, at least you got your spot saved!

I've done cruises is everything from boring to fun cars, and it's always fun. We have plenty of regrouping points so even if you fall back a bit, we'll gather back up within minutes. That said, these are public roads so I doubt you'll really even fall back too far, just hang towards the back of the pack and you'll be fine
