I know, I don't really want to sell it but if I don't then that just means the evo sits not running longer and I want to actually use that this summer, sick of it sitting on jackstands year round. I suppose I could sell the evo and then do house stuff that needs doing and keep the gun and buy even more guns!
It's not set in stone yet but I need to at least entertain the idea and see if anyone is willing to buy it.

Ah, ok. Even cheaper rifles will be accurate to an inch in the 100yd range, and still be fun on the weekends. I see your point, if you need the cash for the Evo it will bring a lot more enjoyment for the immediate future. GLWS.

I don't think I will go too "cheap" (all relative) when I buy another, assuming the SCAR is sold, but yea, for my uses I don't need the "best".
We shall see how it all shakes out, maybe I will keep it. I am going to try and put it up for sale and see if I get offers.

Re: The Gun Thread
Well thought I'd post my shotfun and also get feedback, as I'm going to get the P938 Equinox from Sig and see if anybody else here has it or similar Sig's and if they will be at the Feb 20th Mitsustyle Gun meet.

Re: The Gun Thread
Thats a nice looking weapon. What do you mean by de-neuter it?
Over the last couple of weeks I've been thinking about putting together a tactical shotgun. I've been looking at a Mossberg 590 series, since there seems to be an endless amount of accessories for it. Anyone have any advice on any other makes/models?

Anything Mossberg, Remington, and Saigi are what all the aftermarket goodies are for. My friend has built several home defense shotguns and tactical builds and always uses those platforms due to parts and service availability. Plus, they save you money when it comes to being able to get rid of the old parts or even resale altogether. There are some nice mag conversions out there I've been keeping my eye on that basically makes a .410-12 guage AR or AK type slug or shot gun. Badass.

Take it out of import configuration.
Cut off the welded muzzle nut, change out the thumbhole stock/grip for traditional wood setup and get some 20 round mags

Re: The Gun Thread
Thanks for the input. I've looked at the Saiga shotguns, but they seem to be just a little out of my price range. I'll do some more reasearch into them though.

Re: The Gun Thread
You could check out the MKA 1919. There are high cap mags and Tromix has some sweet mods.

This would be on my list to get if I was buying a shotgun now. The user submitted video is pretty nice too!

Not a bad price either considering a stock S12 is around $700 these days

Re: The Gun Thread
Thought i'd post my 2 newest guns.
Glock 17, Gen 4. 9mm
Works as it should, eats any and all 9mm ammo. Paid $500.
Used white nail polish to fill in the letters

Was a display model at Joe's. Got it for $220. ($235 out the door)
Scope is wal-mart special ( http://www.walmart.com/ip/CenterPoin...Scope/17173797 ) For the money, this scope is frickin' sweet. Comes with rings as well!! Also red/green reticle. I just use the black. If you come out thursday, I'd check out this scope. I might buy another one to have on hand.
This is from one end of my house to the other, (~45-50 feet) I couldn't get it to focus, But I can legibly read the back of the glue bottle.
From 55 yards.
Oh, New Wheels!!

The aresenal!
Got myself a birthday present: The hyped up 2014 DPMS GEN2 .308 Recon. After reading about the new engineering in the new DPMS introduced at SHOTShow 2014, I had to have one. Titanium firing pin, Monolithic BCG and gas key, 7075 forgings, stainless steel barrel, dual ejectors, the synthetic ejector spring. Cool stuff I picked up some 20 round PMags and 100 rounds of cheap ball to break the barrel in.
The Others:
XD-S .45 - Beats up my hand but sure is a great little gun
Arsenal SLR-101 Milled Bulgarian AK-47 with Aimpoint Comp M2 in a Midwest Industries 30mm Side Mount - LOVE THIS GUN
Saiga 12 - Pistol grip conversion, CSS Billet trigger guard, Billet folding stock, Tapco G2 trigger, UTG Quad rail with foregrip. - BADASS with my 20 round drum!!!

Re: The Gun Thread
sleepydsm, has that XDS been through the recall yet? I got mine back from Springfield yesterday. Springfield received it on Jan 17th. It took a little over a month to get back.
I cut part of a section of a bicycle tube and wrapped it around my grip. It helps and looks decent.

I have not yet, I have been shooting it! I should probably send it in asap. Couldnt bear with the 2 month wait the recall update emails suggested! Thanks for reminding me though!

Re: The Gun Thread
MIWEST INDUSTRIES is coming out with a lightweigh slim keymod rail for the GEN 2 rifles that I plan on buying. Broke the barrel in today and I can finally say I get why people like ARs.

Re: The Gun Thread
Top right Ruger SR22 is the one for sale. I'm also thinking of selling the LC9 (smaller handgun) for a 45 after loving Pete's.
