No sleeper effect going on there! That thing must be loud as hell. Any type of muffler or just straight pipe?

Yeah, a turbo
It's actually not loud at all. Most of the sound you hear is the reflection off of the walls of the shop. I'll push it out of the shop and take a video this weekend to see how it actually is.

Re: My other little project
So how does the exhaust work, straight out the side and thats it? I see a wastegate hidden down below but its before the turbo? Thats going to be crazy crazy loud when you get on it.

Yup, that's it. Wastegates are supposed to be before the turbo The wastegate also dumps in the general direction of the downpipe.
It will indeed be crazy loud. Oh well... that's the point

Not necessarily, lots of dsm people put them after the turbo on the 02 housing, or even on the turbo on fp setups.

Before offers better control - but yes, there are many ways to skin that cat.

Re: My other little project
Yea I suppose they can go either way, but I had a tial setup on my 1g that was after turbo on the o2 housing exiting under the car.

Re: My other little project
Off the O2 housing on a DSM is kind of actually "before" the turbo also. The wastegate has to bypass exhaust from hitting the turbine wheel or else the boost will go out of control.
