Re: Project S14 240sx
Well the blower motor for the heat decided to eat it's face and the rest of the box along with it, so that's one more thing to add to the repair list. Upon taking it out, half the bolts and screws were missing, so I'm guessing dorifto boy took it out, then just kinda tossed it back in and only put enough screws in it to keep it from falling back out.

Re: Project S14 240sx
I'm gonna leave the KA24 in it for now, I've got a GT3076R sitting next to me waiting to go on it. If the KA ever blows I'll look into either an RB25 swap or some kind of Nissan/Mitsu bastard child creation (4g64)

Re: Project S14 240sx
They're only like, $2500 to $2700 for a complete longblock/harness/ecu/transmission. I'd probably be around the $2k mark after building a 4g64, sourcing a bellhousing and transmission, and getting it wired in.

$$$, but awesome. I vote keep the KA and get a safe tune for 350-400whp. Can't do much with street tires and lots of power.
For some reason your new avatar made me think it was Cher posting, I did a double take.

Re: Project S14 240sx
Yup, they accepted the $350 offer on the wing. I just got an email saying that the LSD shipped out today via UPS.

Re: Project S14 240sx
So I found a heater box on Ebay, that should be here soon. Also, I won a set of 30mm 300zx brake calipers. There's a bracket that allows the use of the 350z track rotors (12.76") for around $50. If I was to stay with the 300zx rotor (11") they would just bolt right on, but that extra 1.76" of diameter is hard to pass up. Stock rotors are a measly 10 inches with single piston calipers, so either way it's an upgrade.

Re: Project S14 240sx
Just pulled the trigger on a Megan Type-2 catback. I'm sick of this HKS dragging over every single little thing.
