No scheduled times no, probably go by wheelbase and driveline like the past

Maybe next year you allow only Mitsu's to pre register and everyone else can show up and fit in whenever? I know there were many Mitsu's who did not pre register based on the impression that Mitsu's would be given top precedence. Just my .2.

The way the last few dyno day turnouts have been I think its safe to say we would need a few in a row where the turnout was like today for mitsu to have precedence.

Sounds like a good variety of cars dyno'd and a couple made some good power.

Re: 2012 Fall Dyno Day - October 20th - MAPerformance

It's the sad fact that Mitsu's tend to flake out more than anybody else. Or people saying they will dyno but change their mind once they get there, or don't show up at all. If that many mitsu people wanted to dyno so badly, guess what? THEY SHOULD HAVE PREREGISTERED!!! I'll take the guaranteed money 10 times out of 10 over people that "might" show up and pay to run day of. Its just as easy for mitsu guys to sign up ahead of time as it is for everyone else.

It is god damn impossible to have one of these things when everyone wants to sign up day of without any commitment. Why should scheides, or I, or our sponsors be the only ones shouldering the load of the commitment while everyone else kicks back and can back out with no repercussions? I/We certainly don't make money doing these events, I spent close to $100 of my own personal money putting this event on and didn't even dyno a car. Then to hear people piss and moan about it? Well, you can imagine how that makes me feel. If we relied on day-of sign ups nobody would fucking dyno.

You're Goddamn right, Goodhart. people had several months to pre-register.

But I am drunk on several formats of alcohol... so here's a guy humping a foot...

This makes zero sense dude. Based on the inherent flakyness levels of people showing up for these events, we setup the pre-registration so that if people KNOW they are going to come and dyno they can get a spot. If you own a mitsu and don't pre-register b/c you're worried your car might blow up the night before that is fine--but if registration is full when you get there (ps I know this NEVER HAPPENS but it did!) then you have to deal with the consequences.

If you own a mitsu and want to dyno please pre-register next time

Sorry my post may have sounded a bit harsh, and being that I'm new around here I didn't think to pre register but multiple posts did make it seem like pre registration wasnt a priority. Next year I will for sure pre register. Btw, the op said there would be a grill going. Did I miss this? :-P And thanks for doing what you do and I don't mean to sound ungrateful.

Here is an idea...if your that concerned don't drive it or it would be much more fun to blow it up on the dyno and make sure you pre register BTW, hope it went good I hope to be at some events next yr!!

I miss seeing stuff blow up on the dyno, a lot better than cars being under powered (below their potential by a lot) and then nuthugging.

Also I call BS, buy my car then I'll believe it because then you will have a handling DSM and a drag DSM!!

I would of gladly given up my spot to see a car with more HP dyno... I didn't think it would fill up and did it more as a joke than anything... you can't blame the people hosting or thinking of the day because you didn't read fast enough to pre register to dyno... Your issues aren't his priorities, especially since people have flaked out of dynoing, ALL the time!

I even flaked once because a friend said he would and I didn't have a car to dyno at the time(even though the saturn would of made more than my miata) LoLz

You had to admit it was pretty cool to see the Mazda hit 100.01 HP when the first two pull was 99 HP.

All motor build on the miata, would make a super fun daily that would get great MPGs.

lurking in the shadows...

I have always wanted to V8 swap or do some custom 4g63 swap, or turbo the 1.6, I don't think the 4g63 or turbo 1.6 would be worth it though...
