Re: 18 tire fit

in order to have made this all easy, considering the fact that you said it yourself that you know what the #'s mean... then why didn't you just look online at different sizes and compensate with the profile and width of the tire. ie. 225-40 / 215-45 / 215-40 ... their are alot of different sizes you can use... just gotta use your brains. i know for a fact if you called a Tire store... ie. tires plus or goodyear they would price you out a set of tires with install just by calling. They get paid to do that work not us...

Stop busting his/her chops. Answer the question asked or STFU. This is the Tech section. At least as a courtesy, post a link to a thread or website that might have addressed this already.

Re: 18 tire fit

well i run a 225/40/18 and I would def. rub if I had sportlines on - prokit so I would reccomend a 225/35 or else a 215/40 depending on what you want to do for width. This will give you a little bit "smaller" radius for the tire resulting in less rubbing. Also, when my suspension teqh. springs and blown shocks were on (about as low as sportlines) I couldnt have an alignment without bottoming out my control arms on the shock towers.
