4G63 custom timing gear covers
Some people have been asking about the timing cover I have on my car from photos or whatever. I just custom made them at my buddy's shop, I have blue-prints made up from the stock origonal one and just tweaked it a little. Right now I only have one made from SS and polished it up a little, and another one from steel and had it powder coated a fine wrinkled black. The SS one fits, but could use new mounting tabs welded on, its not a perfect fit, but its on..... and it doesn't have the little bump out off the back end to fit over the plastic/metal front engine cover. ( I just took a wizzer and shaved it off the back of the block to get it to fit. The black one fits real nice and has that extra welded tab for the back bolt and fits with no modification. I've seen polished ones off ebay selling for $100 when they even have them, and I know they make clear plastic ones now for $100 also, molded straight from stock ones. Well I'm asking for $50 each, your choice if interested. I can't really make them out of aluminum right now, they are limitted on times they use the aluminum spool gun. Plus they don't use aluminum all that much so it's harder to get ahold of and weld or tig up for me. If you really wanted an aluminum one really badly I probably could get one for you for like probably $100 just because it would most likely have to be tigged (to the best of my ability if you wanted pretty welds)(I'm not a welder, but can do it) or I could grind the welds smooth if I were to use the spool gun, and most likely you would like it polished, so... that takes a little bit of time to do.
But $50 each of the ones I have now...

That is pretty sweet. More shiny stuff for the engine bay!

Ain't worth it. Just remove the cover to inspect the timing belt at all times when idling or showing off. Plus of you have adjustable cams. Pass

Please, remove yourself and your ignorance.
This is worth it, what's $50? It's a good deal and these covers save motors. I personally don't want anything dropping into my gears while running. I have no cover on it now, but I'd like to pick up one of these soon.
I will be buying one in the near future.

2.3 stroker is a proven douche, so don't worry about him.
Looks like a good price, i would like one but i would have to see it in person first.
Seems like a good deal though.

Seriously are guys blind. It's a cover that's flashy and ricey. Come on. It does not improve Hp and Torque numbers. If you guys want to WASTE $50 and not SPENT your money wisely. then make a donation towards me for a 2.3 stroker engine kit. Sponser me or something like banners, ads, you know I need dough NOW!!!

A lot of things on your car don't improve hp and torque numbers, why have a car at all?
Some of us like having a timing belt cover, and what a great way to make the engine bay look clean!

Re: 4G63 custom timing gear covers
I don't even have a cover on mine and I'm sick of being worried about someone putting their stinky pinky into the gears or something falling into it.
You should get some pics of it off the car if possible.

Agian I will say, you are a piece of shit. Go take your stupid ass comments and your dumbass over to MNSC. They like to bash items people are trying to sell. If you dont like this product then move the hell on. I for one purchased a clear timing cover otherwise I would have purchased one of these.

Re: 4G63 custom timing gear covers
There's two types of dsm addicts. The ones who crave for BOOST and those who slap on comestic parts to be pretty and cute and get laughed at by their own friends. True friends don't let their boys be slow. This is real talk don't take it offensive.

What about the ones who like to haul ass and look good too? I mean I am all about performance, but I like my engine bay to be clean and pretty.
You are retarded, and your opinions suck.

Stroker -You aren't about shit, you are some worthless crap that saw videos of DSMs or found about there cheap speed and now you think you can do the same.
Good luck to you, but please stop ruining this ever struggling site, there is so much good here that you should sit back shut up and learn.
