Re: no spark

Obviously its not the ecu. Did you try the transistor pack?

Re: no spark

All fuses and relay's good?

Cam sensor
Transistor Pack
Coil pack
Chassis ground and sensor grounds

Check wiring between the cam sensor and ECU and between the transistor pack and ECU as well as coil pack.

Is the fuel pump turning on when you spin the cam sensor?

Re: no spark

The first thing that i checked was a transistor pack and cam sensor and the wireing both places. I can hear the fuel pump kick on when you try to start it plus it has good fuel psi. What am I missing to check.

Re: no spark

You obviously missed something... You check the wiring between the cam sensor and ECU? Check the wiring between the transistor and ECU?

Does the coil pack have power?

The fuel pump will turn on when you turn the key on to prime. But does it continue to run while cranking the engine? Pull the cam sensor out and spin it by hand and listen for injectors to click, fuel pump to run, or coil pack to fire.

Re: no spark

Yeah, the cam sensor sends a signal to the MPI relay kicking on the fuel pump, that's not it.

Did you swap out the transistor pack, or just look at it?

Re: no spark

What plugs do you have?

Are you getting fuel at the rail?

Can you hear the injectors clicking when you spin the cam sensor by hand?

Can you hear the fuel pump run when you spin the cam sensor by hand?

Re: no spark

Well then, all you're missing is timing and compression.

Did you do a compression test?

When you put the cam sensor in, try rotating it clockwise a little bit to advance the timing. This is while the cam sensor is mounted on the head but loose.

Re: no spark

Ok... Then its between the cam and the cam sensor.

If you spin the cam sensor by hand and everything works, then you put the cam sensor in the motor and nothing works... What does that tell ya?

I dont care if the engine is brand new or has a million miles on it.

Either the cam is not spinning the cam sensor, or your timing is way off.

Who put the cams in? Can you take a picture of the end of the cam where the cam sensor slides into?

If this is a new engine, it almost sounds like someone flip flopped the cams and the exhaust cam is where the intake cam should be to where its not turning the cam sensor.

Re: no spark

Ok... Still, check the cam where the sensor bolts.

Like I said before, if everything works with the cam sensor out, but nothing when its installed...

Either the cam sensor is bad
Wiring is loose somewhere
Cam is not spinning cam sensor
The cam sensor is not all the way in the head

Those are the only possibilities for the cam sensor to work when its out of the motor and you are spinning it physically with your hand vs being in the engine and not working at all.

Thats all there is, nothing else. So if you still cant figure it out, maybe get Travis over there or something cause thats all it can be.
