Help again

Ok, so I got my car runnin a few days ago, I havn't put many miles on it yet, but Im running N/A again just till the motor breaks in. Well today I was driving into town and all of a sudden my car gets louder and really gutless, like it had very little throttle response, and I started to smell raw gas, I was like wtf. The car started chugging and chugging, so I pulled over at my buddys house that I was comming up to. shut the car off asap, and let it sit for a bit to figure out what the deal was.

I popped the hood and started the car, There was exhaust shooting out of the hood. well, one of the bolts that holds the downpipe to the header broke out, so I put a new one in, tightened it down. then I went around to the back of the car and checked the exhaust and it was white, and the car was still sputtering but it idles at 2000ish RPMs. There is also some gas comming out the exhaust. I don't think I popped a head gasket, because I just put a cometic, copper sprayed HG on and ARP head bolts.

My Air/Fuel guage says Im running super rich. My nitrous LED guage also says the same thing. Im running the stock FPR, stock injectors, and stock Fuel pump again, and the problem seems to be the same.

Anybody got some Ideas

Re: Help again

Could a bad upper o2 sensor have anything to do with all this? The header/downpipe is still leaking exhaust

Re: Help again

So is your car turbocharge or not? It does not matter if you just replaced the head gasket. If the surface is not even and clean than it will cause a problem. You said you smell gas. Gas as in gas or exhaust gas? More detail about your car please.

Re: Help again

You probably popped your head gasket. I've not heard many good things about Cometic head gaskets.
