Maft Setting

I was wondering how you set the maft. I know what to set it at but im not sure if I did it right. I have the AUX at 4 and the MAF BASE at 2. The instructions say to set the AUX at 4 and the BASE at 2. But there is a MAF BASE and a SPARK BASE knob. Do I set them both to 2 or what? I HAVE checked around but nowhere told be that answer. If you could help out that would be great.
Thanks,
Mike

Re: Maft Setting

There are a handful of different versions of the MAF-T, it helps to know which one you have.

Re: Maft Setting

I would leave all settings at zero, except for basic model specifics. What other form of fuel management do you have? If possible, just use one, not both the maf-t and an afc, or whatever.

Also, what size of injectors do you have?

Re: Maft Setting

No fuel management. Stock 450 injectors. In the manual it says to set it at 4 and 2 but it does not specify what base is at 2 cuz there are 2 base knobs.

is it the 2G model? I would just set everything to zero and see how it goes. Do you get any error codes?

On some versions though, zero is for smaller than 450cc injectors.

Are you sure the MAF base and Spark base aren't blacked out? I have seen some of the MAFTs where they have that on them, but they are blacked out because they used a board meant for a different kind of car that had different functions. Are there pics in the manual of the layout of the knobs? AUX should be the one on the far left by itself and then the base should be in the group of 4 dials and be the one farthest on the left.
