I posted something about it the other day. Now that I look at it more, the flywheel section is just the auto stuff from Mitsu. I am going to order the bolts/spacer from Mitsu.

Really? cause 2 guys on the link forums, posted up that they used that kit and that they have had no problems with their flywheel since switching over to it.

i thought that this was 2.4 specific as i have only heard of 2.4 guys with this problem, but i understand that 2.0s have this problem too in some applications.

Look at the kit, it's designed for aftermarket flywheels because of different thicknesses. The way the flywheel bolts to the crank is identical between the two. The 2.4 seems to have a little more harmonics though, which I'm guessing is why people have more problems with bolts coming loose. I haven't had any issues, but I also have my cranks balanced with the flywheel and dampener on.

Mine was balanced fully assembled too, so that isn't the secret :P I have been entertaining the idea of going to a Fluidampr balancer though, I have one of the one's Rau used to use.

I reved my 2.4l to 11,200 once on an unintentional downshift. The bolts didn't come loose, but the flywheel somewhat welded itself to the crank.

So this kit from FP, is just the Mitsu Auto kit? More or less, I'm trying to see if this will resolve the scaryness of running short stock Flywheel-Crank studs on my Fidanza. I ran stock ones with loc-tite. Auto ones are longer?

I can't really word out what I'm tryin gto ask. Hope someone understands.

The FP one also has studs for the clutch to mount to. The inner flywheel bolts/plate look to be from an auto. I have a twin disk so the studs do me no good.

The longer flwheel bolts in the FP bolt kit may also be mk4 supra bolts.

The auto flexplate bolts are shorter then MT flywheel bolts.

Had a similar issue but my flywheel did come loose. Bolts welded themselves to flywheel on over rev (10,500) than after a hard launch the welded bolts from over rev broke loose and then the flywheel rattled.

Alright, I found a good deal on ARP Supra bolts, but their shipping is high. Anyone need a set of Supra ARP bolts?
$28 for a set (6) shipped if we split the shipping cost.

Guess I was a little late but I was gonna say some people tap and use supra bolts; they are a little longer.
