installing MBC

I just got a Turbo XS MBC and was wondering what the smartest / easiest way to hook it up. Could a guy just eliminate the boost solenoid and run the 2 vac lines that used to run there, to the MBC? Or is that not correct? Any help would be nice. Thanks.

Re: installing MBC

I have a Hallman MBC. Shouldn't be any different than what you have though. Concept is all the same. I have one hose going to a "T" on the line going to my B.O.V. The other line goes to the wastegate. The line that has the little bleeder in the hose is the one going to the wastegate. It's as simple as that. I capped off the nipple on the turbo.

As for the stock solenoid, you don't need it. Just leave it there disconnected. The stock solenoid has 2 hoses, one going to the gate and the other to a vacuum source probably off the intake somewhere. You can cap that one and source it off the B.O.V. or source it from whereever you want. I think the BOV is the most common place though. Just make sure you don't have any unconnected hoses when finished.

Go to www.vfaq.com and you will find tons of info on how to install stuff, including MBC's.
