Pit Bike Racers?

Does any body here ride/race these little bike?
I just bought a 110cc bike it has disc brakes, a 4 speed tranny and just enough power to flip over backwards. Also you can mod the piss out of these things they have billet alum frames for these things. DOHC conversion kits, cams, headers and the best part they are cheap. I got my bike brand new for $900 here locally.

So does anyone else ride these things?

Re: Pit Bike Racers?

it tops out around 40 mph. in its stock form. I just found out that there is a oval track going in about 10 miles from my house that they are going to race these things on. I hear that they are geting big in California, but can't confirm that.

Are you referring to the new track coming up in Newton?

Re: Pit Bike Racers?

I've got a Blata pocket bike. It's a 3.5 horse and runs about 40mph with me on it. I'd be up for racing it, but the bike pictured above is completely different and would suck on any kind of paved track.

Re: Pit Bike Racers?

Yeah that 110cc X12 is badass, i was looking for prices and someone was actually trying to charge $2500 for one, then every other site i was looking at was only chargind $730-800 for it. Ya wonder if they company charging that much has sold a single one.

You could get a beatup 1G for that, they'll do 125+ with no mods.

Re: Pit Bike Racers?

Carefully. My elbows are touching my knees when I'm riding it. Best of all, it fits under my hatch cover so I don't have to leave it in the pits when I race.

Re: Pit Bike Racers?

On saturday i rode these http://www.pagsta.com/. My friends dad owns the company, hence how he has the 3 ferraris that he was racing. That is by far the most comfortable mini bike i have ever rode. They have a hefty price tag but just looking at one in person you understand why, very beautiful. and me (whose 6'2" tall) fit really comfortable.
