I was curious as to what was out for 1G short shifters. I haven't seen too many except for the do it yourself one on VFAQ(which is confusing to the newbie in me). It also mentions a link to buying one which I am looking into.

Currently I have a shortened height shifter with this damn VW Beetle shift knob I can't get off, but I really want to get rid of it and do the right shifter this time.

Any leads or references are appreciated.

There really are no quality 1G short-shifter kits available. Stick with your stock....or shorten it some more.

I have heard good things about the pilot short shifter for the 1g's it is kind of hard to find and not to cheap either but heard it works well.
