I just put it up for fun, to show the open dump loudness.
I will get a good one soon
Honestly, the "break up" or whatever it was up top screwed with my mind. I am paranoid still about my car so I was focusing on the car working and not driving.
The car is starting to really run rough, I am guessing something is wrong. Spark plug fouled out maybe? Or maybe mivec is really off, seems to be getting worse.
I was trying to do a 3rd gear pull for VD and got this.
I am not sure if the clutch slipped or what? I attached the log as well. I am hoping its something easy, now I am for sure not driving until i finish putting my wideband in.
The car seems to drive perfectly fine when not in boost though or even light boost, just full WOT in the upper RPM's it gets crazy.
edit: its kind of a long one, the pull is at the end.
This is why you need a wideband. Timing looks good but the car is knocking 2-3 counts across the board. Who knows if its lean or rich or what. Check all your couplers. Check for leaks. Check your oil, check your coolant.
Double check everything.
Boost leak test and compression test, stat.
Oh, and if its running like shit, don't rev it to 8000 :P ...you know something is wrong by the time you get to 4500rpm, don't push it man!

It seemed to run fine until higher RPM's honestly, until tonight I have only seen it run like this 3 times or so where it broke up in the upper RPM's. I let off as soon as it started giving me problems and I seriously have gone WOT less than 10 times on the new setup, well probably right around 10. I have been mostly just driving it around normal cruising, I have been a big pussy because I don't want to break anything and was just trying to do a VD run tonight.
I am not driving it anymore until the wideband goes in, but I just haven't had time to put it in yet with work and friends' engagement shit and what not. The knock light didn't go off at all that pull otherwise I would've let off on that too, it looks like it only hit 3 counts momentarily.
Needless to say I am beyond annoyed with my car. I don't understand why it runs so well on the dyno and immediately when I seem to take it home everything goes to shit. I don't know if its the X's or what, but they seem to be way better on the dyno than the street. Shane drove it on the street and said it all looked good, never saw knock or anything.
I've only had the car for a week since it got tuned and like I said barely have beat on it at all.
Well got started on the wideband tonight...didn't get too far as I didn't get home from work until 7pm or so and was dead tired from staying up until 3am last night working on some stupid proposal for work.
Bought a new solder gun and a bunch of misc electrical supplies for the install.
Fixed my drooping exhaust on the driver side which doesn't seem very sturdy at all but hopefully doesn't move now.
Jacked the car up and that's about where I ended...I need to take the car down off the stands and pull it out of the garage to get to the other side of the car so I can see where the extra o2 bung is on my new downpipe.
My bung on the testpipe is the weird one with just a pilot hole and angled oddly so the sensor doesn't see all the gases. SO my plan is to take the plug i have in my downpipe and put that in my testpipe and install the wideband in the downpipe where the bung was before. Then get to some more logging.
Shane sent me a new MAP to put on the car but I want to wait until i finish this install.
Anyone bored tomorrow night, feel free to stop by to help, I got some bicardi to offer, sorry no beer right now drank it all over the weekend
