It is supposed to have something built in to prevent running rich when you vent to the atmosphere. I have yet to use it, but it seems like a good idea for ricers like myself

Other than that, I think there is a few more tuning points which is no big deal and its got a fancy screen.

Suppose to have more rpm points to tune than the previous SAFC's. IMO, too much money still for the added features. Stick with a SAFC2

The older Blue ones without the joystick were the best to work with.

The original SAFC is actually the 5-knob version. The single knob was called just an AFC. But yes, the first blinky-blue was much faster and easier to use than the joystick version.

Then the first blinky blue
Then the blinky blue with a joystick (S-AFC II)

Re: A'Pexi AFC Neo - Anyone have this yet?

I miss my 5-knob, that thing was so easy to tune on the fly. Mid-race I could adjust my mixture based on what I was seeing on my dash mounted logger....or go full-rich to piss off tailgaters

Re: A'Pexi AFC Neo - Anyone have this yet?

There might have even been another one before the 5-knob unit that we are used to. I can across some very ancient documentation for one a few years ago.

There was a single knob AFC before the 5-knob SAFC.
