Question Another problem

Kind of the wrong place to put this but it was so random that it kindof makes sense...

I was trying to adjust my clutch on my 1g, and i tried to start the car up to see if i could get it into gear and nothing, turns out the brake lights were on the whole time and drained my battery... needlesss to say i still dont think i can get the car in gear, nor can i find out.

I relocated my battery to the hatch, and the ground is ran to the strap down brace, im not sure if that could play a role but it was fine for about 5 months so i couldnt see how that could affect anything... and i hate wiring.

Any ideas??

Re: Another problem

I would think that you would need a much stronger ground. It might be in your best interest if you run a pretty hefty wire all the way up to the block and unibody.

Not sure if the problems would be related though.

LightningGSX gives some pretty good pointers on how to properly wire a relocated battery in this thread. http://dsmstyle.com/forums/showthrea...ery+relocation
