UH Fuel Lines

Am I doing this one right? I'm trying to get the lines to/from my FPR hooked up and I have no reference. I don't know if I have this all bass-ackwards so if someone could let a guy know it'd be much appreciated.

More/less I'm hoping someone will mspaint the line placement in.

Re: UH Fuel Lines

looks about right to me, you got the one AN fitting on the left side, the barbed vacuum on the right, and to the tank also on the right, how many other places are there to hook up the hose from the rail?

Re: UH Fuel Lines

i wasn't sure if the AN fitting was to be on the left or not. Also, the two other ones I was wondering, bottom one to tank and the smaller one to IM I assume. Just sitting in the garage, figured I should make sure it's right the first time. I'm already draggin ass on this thing.

Re: UH Fuel Lines

ok i went and looked at mine, i didnt know there was a port on the bottom.

it looks like you can hook up the from the fuel rail to either the left or right sides (mine is on the right)

and back to the tank out of the bottom

Re: UH Fuel Lines

Looks great to me. I like the black line and the fittings.

Re: UH Fuel Lines

From top to bottom.
1. Very top is the barbed fitting that is for IM vacuum.
2. Then you have three ports: 2 -6 and 1 1/8NPT port for the gauge. You can have the fuel coming in from the rail at either side of the regulator and cap off the other.
3. On the bottom is another -6, that is for the return to the tank.

Not sure what I'm looking at in that first pic but it almost looks like you have the inlet on the left and the return on the right, that would be incorrect as there would be no restriction in the flow of fuel and therefore no fuel pressure.

As far as that black like goes, it is Russell ProClassic hose. Some of the absolute nicest and easiest line to work with by far. You'll never have to worry about fraying ends and stainless steel wires poking you in the hand. Also it is super lightweight, and very nice to look at.

Re: UH Fuel Lines

Like this? I'm going to have to get a 90* for that An fitting though.

Re: UH Fuel Lines

Is there a port on the very bottom of the FPR? I've never looked that closely at a Fuel lab unit, but on my Aeromotive there is two ports for inlet on the sides, and one port on the bottom for return. If there's no port on the very bottom of yours, it shouldn't matter which side you put the inlet and return on.

Re: UH Fuel Lines

I have the one on the bottom capped. I'll swap it with that other fitting.
