A friend needs a tranny for his 95 gs-t. I have a tranny off my laser. Will it fit? If so, what would be needed (do I need to swap shift linkages)?

For future reference, can a 1g AWD tranny be used in a AWD 2g?

Thanks, John.

AFAIK they can not be interchanged. I believe the mount to the chassis and the shifter cables are what is different.

The 2G CV shafts are different from the 1G spline count.

A 2G AWD tranny can be used in a 1G AWD. The other way around might be tough with the stupid 2G motor mounts.
