Radiator Fans.

I think I found out why my car is over-heating. I was looking at my fans work and the one on the leftside of the car wasnt on? I dont know if it was or wasnt, but I'm guessing that since the one on the right was working and the one on the left wasnt...it must be broken. Well..it's not totally broken, when the right fan was shutting off the left one started to spin for a few cycles and stopped. Then I'd shut the car off for a little bit and turn it back on and the temperature gauge would be back down a little. Okay, back to topic. Does it matter what kinda fan I get? I was looking around and saw some pretty darn expensive ones and some cheap ones and I just want to know what the difference is. If it doesnt really matter, could I just get factory fans? (my heat it EXTREMELY hot, because of the temperature....haha...(<-- random talk)).

Re: Radiator Fans.

Passenger side should be on when the car gets up to temp. The driver side fan is only on when you turn on the AC.

Re: Radiator Fans.

Yeah, I just found that out in school today when a friend told me about it. Darn, I was hoping that it was the fan that was causing me to overheat.

Talk about bringing a post back from the dead.
But did you ever figure out why your passenger side fan wasnt turning on?
Im having this exact same problem right now.

I tried searching, but no one still seems to be able to fix this problem.
