Almost no power in first

Ok for starters this is an automatic 1g. The other night went out beat on the car a bit then i noticed i had no power in first. Its really slow to get going. If i nudge the car forward at a stop it feels notchy. The transmission is not slipping it simply takes forever to get up to speed, once into boost she still pulls like a raped banshee in all gears even 1st. I did a boost leak, compression test, checked plugs, transmission level, checked for shaft play, and they all are fine so im stumped why i have no power in 1st. Any help would be awesome.

its not in limp mode

Re: Almost no power in first

It could be locked up in OD mode.

If you stall test it what RPMs are you reading?

He is saying that your torque converter might be locked up; hence it will not "slip" like it is supposed to. Read up on how a torque converter works and what its purpose is and you will understand.
