Did you take it out for a spin? Any initial feedback?

Only drove it home from DB so far but here are my thoughts.
The car is WAYYYYY better just driving around. It feels very smooth. Shane said he spent like 2 days on just the driveability part and got the fuel very good. He took MAF out down low too which seemed to get rid of some if not all the bogginess.
I did a few WOT pulls, didn't have much space so I had to left off a little early but they were smooth no problems. I also didn't see any knockCEL so that made me happy.
Shane said he collapsed the high and low octane tables to 2-3 degrees lower in the RPM range but left them higher from 5 or 6krpms on up at like 6 degrees or so.
I am quite satisfied for now and will update after some more driving.

Re: Dave's Evo X Build/The Life of Dave blog
Well packing up my car for the winter for sure now...
Just found this at work before I left...
I was praying that I made it home, thankfully I did. The evo gods are angry with me.
In case you can't tell, that is a long strip of shredded belt.

My car likes to break I guess and not when it's convenient.

What pulleys are on there now, stock ones or those Hyundai ones?

Ugh shitty...back to stockers I guess? Or inspect the Hyundai ones...they come off really easy once the belt is off.

Re: Dave's Evo X Build/The Life of Dave blog
It sounds like I might need a washer or something to adjust the tensioner pulley I guess. Trying to talk to a few others who have the hyundai pulley's.
I probably still will not fix this until spring though.

Re: Dave's Evo X Build/The Life of Dave blog
Agreed. Having it down all winter will just piss you off, especially come that first really nice spring day.
