Re: FP 68HTA sale now while supplies last!!!
I spoke with Aneil on the the phone today. I was hardly impressed with what he had to say about it. All he could tell me was that it would flow like a 20g(tdo5 20g I'm guessing) and spool like a 16g and be right around 4xxhp. I hate to be a nit picker but, my Evo3 16g should be about 4xx awhp on MAP's dyno and It made 350awhp on DB's dyno. So, short of some hard evidence saying that it really is the coolest thing since sliced bread, I'm not really sold on it.

Re: FP 68HTA sale now while supplies last!!!
It'd be interesting to have this turbo...but I really want to see it compared to the E316g. For example, say you have 2 bone stock 1g's, one with the 68HTA and the other with the e316g, both have the same exact supportive mods. which one would have the higher hp? I know tuning and everything comes into play but which one would have the higher awhp/awtq right off the bat. .. .. i know it's in the gray area, but if I had the money, i would get the 68hta but for now the e316g is great enough for my needs.

I was thinking of doing the hx35 on the evo over the winter.

Re: FP 68HTA sale now while supplies last!!!
^no. Thats the HX40, from what I have seen its happening a lot, not to everyone, but enough to where I am glad that I didn't get one.
Nothing bad on teh HX35, apart from teh sucky $65 dollar rebuild kits.
But to be on topic, Curt Brown got one of these the first few days it was out, i know that he was busy though or had something come up when he was supposed to test it. (not to do with the turbo other shit)
I talked to robert and basically if you want a 16G that will hold 31psi to redline or even a bit more this is it. (he said he took it to 7200rpm on his test car)

Re: FP 68HTA sale now while supplies last!!!
Man, that is a tempting price, but I too would have to justify the extra price over the E16G with some real solid gains or quicker spool.

Re: FP 68HTA sale now while supplies last!!!
Is there any actual dyno information anywhere out there for this turbo?

I'm pretty sure English racing did that with a E3 16g as well. Just it was on E98 with no intercooler and a host of other things to make it work....
I would really like to see the gains of being able to hold to redline. Mine falls on its face at 5600, but I get full spool in 5th gear in 200rpm. Something to be said for decent power and redonk spool times.

Re: FP 68HTA sale now while supplies last!!!
Yeah, but robert just did it on c16 i believe, no ICless setup or E98 or host of other things.
50trim sized deal for the win. But to be honest if i was back on the 2g mani and a 16g I wish i would of listened and went T3 and by now a 50 trim.

True. I'm still debating about trying that new PTE billet 55. Looks like decent spool and some really decent topend. Still, no numbers on that though. What is with the new turbos and no one using them? Everyone as cheap and broke as me?
