ECU Restarting?

Something is going on with my ECU where it seems to be restarting itself. I'll be driving along and my throttle will just drop and my AFC shuts off and keeps trying to turn back on. Most of the time I have to stop turn the car off and wait for the ECU to turn off and then start it again, but sometimes it will start back up on it's own. When this happens my car pretty much has no power at all and i hardly get any throttle response. Is there some thing wrong with my ECU? Please ask questions and help me out if you can. Oh, and I replaced the MAS and that didn't change anything.
