New Exhaust kit

Hey guys im planning on buying a exhaust kit but i can't seem to find a good one.
Honestly i want the muffler to look stock (like the thermal), so I figured why not get a 3" Thermal Exhaust turbo back, but so far i haven't found a site that has a Thermal 3" downpipe. So I was wondering if I could get like a Apex'i N1 3" downpipe and then just attatch the Thermal 3" catback.

Or can anyone just help me out and let me know whats a good set up that helps a lot with performance and still keep that OEM type muffler.

thanks!!

Re: New Exhaust kit

from what I have seen, the Thermal really doesnt have a stock looking tip, but its what I have and I love it. You can get pretty much any downpipe to go with it, but you may have to cut the flange off of say an Apexi downpipe and use a clamp or something insted of just bolting it right up. Either way it wouldnt be too bad

I was gonna go with a JET made system, but i found one for dirt, anyway have JET make u a system, but use your own muffler that has stock appearance. Thats what i would do if i had the $$$.

Yeah, I can get Borla mufflers that look like stock and sound nice. I am going to be crazy busy this summer, so I might not be able to do it though.

Re: New Exhaust kit

well i remember reading on sportcompact when RRE had there red 1g talon on there, and the exhaust they made was a RRE 2.5 down pipe, Buschur Exhaust system, with a magnaflow dual tip (but for some odd reason when you read on later it says flowmaster instead).

It sound like it was actually pretty good because except that i want a 3" all the way, but to have the muffler it self to have the dual tips that look stock.

i guess i'll just have to get a apexi n1 exhaust. lol

Re: New Exhaust kit

I think it is 2.5 from the turbo to the flex section and after that it is 3in all the way back. It is one piece too no test pipe it meets up with the apexi N1
