Difference between the 1G MT & ATs----

ECU
Injectors
Cams
Turbo

Also, are there any difficulties with swapping a '91 MT setup into a '92?

The exhaust manifold is different too, it is shifted to the side 1". Just put on a 2g one and you are set.

Is there any difference between the 4 bolt AT rearends and the 4 bolt MT rearends?

Ratios a little different from what I remember. My car is originally an AT. One key thing is to get the shifter and linkage right, my fifth and reverse gears are really close to passenger side of the console which makes it interesting for faster shifting.

Also I have to have a small shim in between my crank and flywheel to adjust for differences in all that old AT stuff.

Yep, the rear end is way off. You will need to replace that too. I think you can just replace the gears too.
