Re: 1994 Talon TSi
95tsi and I got the engine out last night, thanks again dave! And I brought it to Gosh this morning. Working on getting the engine bay cleaned up with some Engine Bright right now as well as painting a few things to freshen it up some. Won't have pictures posted for a few days because they are all on my cell phone right now.
I will also be working on getting the ABS out, though I just had one question. The non-ABS prop valve has 6 holes in it, where do they all go?

Re: 1994 Talon TSi
There should be one in and two out for the front, and the same for the rear. The front-most line coming out of the master cylinder is for the front brakes

Re: 1994 Talon TSi
Pile of junk that is no longer needed:
Random ass wiring, most of which was connected to nothing at all. (other people's hack jobs FTL):
What came out of the old fuel filter:
Some sort of Blitz EBC or something that I didn't even know was in the car:
Cliche' pic of engine being out:
Also, while trying to get the FIAV bypass installed during some down time, I found out that 3 of the screws are seized like a bitch. I even hit them with PB Blaster about 15-20 times randomly throughout the weekend and they still wouldn't come loose. I also sanded down the K member and hit it with some spray paint while the engine was out, as well as doing some really deep cleaning on everything. Didn't get much else done this weekend due to a wicked stomach flu.

Re: 1994 Talon TSi
That blitz box is from one of their boost gauge/turbo timers. When the car was broken into they stole the small LCD screen from in front of the shifter, but not the actual control box...classic. Blitz wouldn't just sell me the screen, so I never really got it replaced before I sold the car. I can't speak for the rest of that mountain of wires though, holy crap.

Re: 1994 Talon TSi
The rest of the wires were from what looked to be a CD changer, a big ricer shift light, a pretty nice Alpine car alarm that unfortunately never did work, some wires that used to go to the Dejon Tool dual stage boost controller for the High/Low boost switch, and also an old school Jumptronix A:F/volt gauge that I haven't taken out yet.

Re: 1994 Talon TSi
Oh right! After it got broken into, I used the insurance money and bought two of those alarms; one for this beast and one for anna's 9-sec lancer ES :P
it was pretty nice when I put it in (audio king did, actually) but I'm sure they cut some wire and couldn't figure out how to get it to work again...those things are touchy.

Re: 1994 Talon TSi
OK, so I found this little diagram while researching on where the lines need to be plumbed for the ABS removal. Someone let me know if this looks right.
I am guessing the two holes that face downward in the picture, are the two that face forward real life.

Does it matter which line goes where into the master cylinder? can they be flip flopped and not matter?
