Today i was thinking to myself, where should i mount my wastegate and turbo, i have a 240sx and it is soon to be turboed. The sad thing is that i need to find out how to mount it, either top or bottom, and also where would be the best place to tap the return oil line? would 3an- be a good choice for the oil feed and then 10an- for the return? does that seem about right? also my setup will not be having an intercooler till later which i dont think would affect performance too much. anyways, please tell me what you think?

Personally I think it's a great project, but only if you have all the parts your want to make it all work together. I'd wait for an IC before the install.

As far as the turbo, I guess it would depend on room, exhaust manifold, ect. With turboing some cars usually you havew to work with the room you have. I wish I could help more, but I am not familiar with 240s much.

Closest to the engine works the best. The DSM's use a -4 feed line in the SS kits. You also want a really big return since it is gravity fed and you don't want a back up. The return line should go right into the oil pan. I am guessing you meant feed line, so see if you filter housing has a port somewhere on the clean side.

he means tap the oil filter housing/cooler after it has been filtered, not before it.
good luck with the project.
